Wow! Where to even begin. Marissa photographed my wedding day. My photos are STUNNING. She perfectly captured the happiness of the day, there is literally not a photo I dislike. As I looked through my wedding albums, I noticed there were countless photos I had NO idea she even took. It was great being able to see natural moments caught on camera.
23 hours before I was to walk down the isle, my father passed away from his battle with cancer. As soon as I had let my guest know via Facebook, I received a condolence text from Marissa. The morning of the wedding she showed up to the bridal suite with tears in her eyes, gave me a hug and wished me a happy wedding day. With her as my photographer my wedding was a happy day. She stood by me through the heat, walked through cattle lots and bean fields. She cried with us and she laughed with us. This is where Marissa went above and beyond... 4 days after my wedding we had services for my father. We again hugged and cried together. She also donated to the American Cancer Society in my dads memory. Marissa not only touched my wedding, but has touched my life. If it were up to me she would take every professional photo of mine for the rest of my life! Marissa, you are not only the most talented photographer I know, but you are also one of the best people I have ever met in my life.
One of my biggest priorities was to work with someone who was transparent--about their price, about their process, about their vision, and about what they would deliver. Marissa exceeded my expectations in every single one of these categories. On top of that, she is incredibly fun to be around and added so much to our day. She was organized and professional at every point. Additionally, she was accommodating to my schedule and my husband and I's vision. I cannot say enough good things about her and her work. Highly recommend!
